Coram Showers are proud to announce we have successfully gained our ISO14001:2004 certification.
This accepted standard outlines that as a company we are running with an effective Environmental Management System which addresses a delicate balance between maintaining profitability whilst also helping to reduce environmental impact. The environment is important to Coram so our qualified team, led by Technical Director Rob Jarvis, have identified every operation undertaken from our headquarters in Bridgnorth and have implemented a policy that will educate not only new employees but existing also. Rob commented, “Achieving ISO14001 accreditation is a great achievement for Coram Showers. As a UK manufacturer, it underlines our commitment to good environmental practices and continuous improvement. The environmental management system is a mechanism to ensure we make more efficient use of our resources, improve efficiency and reduce waste.”
All procedures have been strictly scrutinised and assessed to ensure that they are running efficiently and safely to reduce environmental harm and in the event of an emergency there are plans and trained personnel in place to deal with them.
With the increasingly important issue of climate change and continued waste of natural resources Coram believe that they have a responsibility to help wherever possible and the ISO 14001:2004 certification is a step towards supporting a cleaner and safer environment for all.
