Impey Showers receives accreditation by RIBA CPD program
Impey Showers, part of the Coram Group UK, is pleased to announce it has been accredited by RIBA’s prestigious CPD program.
The seminar, entitled ‘The Evolution of the Wet room’, concentrates on how wetrooms have evolved and their features and benefits, as well as explaining the process of specifying and installing a wetroom in different environments. It explains how you can modify the specification process to obtain high quality, leak free, results and highlights the considerations regarding wall and flooring construction and the requirements for both concrete and wooden floors.
Aimed predominantly at architects specifying wet rooms in commercial, residential and domestic environments, the CPD training caters for renovations and new build projects.
The training, which incorporates top tips and troubleshooting procedures, allows for the installation of not only luxury wet rooms but level access healthcare facilities and includes a complete checklist for wetroom specification.
Stephen Pelling, specification manager at Impey Showers, said:
“CPD is a crucial accreditation for Impey. As industry standards change, and regulations are put in place to reduce the amount of substandard contractors, the awareness and importance of CPD has increased. CPD logs, training hours and Certificates of Attendance ensure learning standards are met and consequently working standards improve. We are pleased to be part of the programme and it shows our commitment to improving and maintaining industry standards, and providing contractors and installers with relevant training, information and knowledge.”
